Hello! First, I would like to start my news update today with a big Happy New Year to all my clients, family, friends and new visitors to my site!

2010 proved to be the most successful year in my entire career and I am so thankful and grateful for that. I worked on a large variety of projects from logo design to web user interface design to custom web development. I met and had the opportunity to work with some amazing designers, application developers and clients.

I am also working towards a new release of my website. Due to heavy client work loads and new client development, it’s becoming very challenging to do so. I am going to continue to pursue a new website with portfolio updates and more nonetheless! Please stay tuned for updates!

2011 is already looking to be another big milestone with all sorts of new things happening! Here are a few updates to look out for this year:

Business Partnerships:

I am actively seeking business partnerships in the following areas:

  • graphic designers
  • web designers
  • front-end web developers
  • web application developers
  • sales and new client management

I am looking for professional, talented and serious individuals that are interested in these types of partnerships. I am seeking individuals that want to build a team and a business together. In other words, if you’re a freelancer or small business who is only looking to build your own personal portfolio or business, chances are, we’re not the right match.

Our Digital Gift:

Our Digital Gift

Our Digital Gift is an annual non-profit donation and industry collaboration founded by designer and developer Atom Groom. Each year, Atom will select a few graphic design and web development professionals to collaborate on the Digital Gift. Before selections are made, the non-profit will be selected first to ensure the talent behind the project is the right fit.

Each year, the goal of Our Digital Gift is to provide small non-profit organizations with the opportunity to have a brand package designed as well as a web site developed. We recognize that these small, core, non-profits cannot afford professional design and development services. We know the importance of having a professionally design brand and how it positively impacts your organization on many levels.

Aside from your brand development, identity system and website, we also focus our efforts on helping your team market the organization. We help you with writing strong content within your content management system and we help you develop a strong social media presence.

We feel very strongly about the positive impact that non-profits make in our communities locally, nationally and world wide. We know the importance of supporting these organizations and helping them succeed. It is our main focus to donate our time and talents to giving back to those that give so much.

In 2010, myself and Joseph Gonzalez partnered to create the first ever “Our Digital Gift”. We donated our design services to The Homeless Comedy Tour, which is an upcoming tour where all proceeds will be donated to the homeless in the United States.

For this year, I have changed the way that Our Digital Gift works from both the internal and external perspectives.

  • Non-Profits now need to submit a full application to be considered
  • Designers, Developers and Project Managers will be considered after a non-profit is selected
  • The Design and Development team will change every year

I am also in the process of developing a new website based on the new logo concept that was created about a month ago. I am excited and eager to put this whole creation together. I can’t wait to help out another organization and get them set in the direction they deserve!
